Breaking Barriers, Creating Opportunities.
Girls in pastoralist communities face daily challenges, from harsh climates and harmful traditional practices to limited access to education and the burden of unpaid work.
Our Commitment
We believe every girl deserves to grow up in a safe, supportive environment with equal access to education, opportunities, and the resources she needs to reach her full potential.

Murua Girl Child Education Program (Murua Girls) is a grassroots NGO registered in Kenya that works with girls from indigenous pastoralist communities in Narok, Kajiado, Samburu, Isiolo, and Marsabit.
We work at the intersection of culture, education, and climate resilience to build thriving Indigenous communities where girls are safe, empowered through education, and celebrated as leaders of change.
Support for her
Investing in girls to help them build confidence, exercise their agency, stay safe from harm, and take their place as leaders, learners, and active participants in shaping their communities.
Change for Her
working across households, institutions, and communities, to create safe and supportive spaces where girls are empowered to learn, grow, and lead transformative change.
